Dynamics in double roll crushers

The two rolls (6), (7) are both configured as solidly mounted rolls. There is no floating roll (Fig. 7), as it is in a common DRC. The gap between the rolls can be adjusted by two worm gears (9). A scraper (10) at each roll removes material, if it sticks on the rolls. The basic technical parameters of the machine are presented in Table 1.
