In order to study the rock-breaking mechanism of compound impact drilling, the thermal-structure coupling simulation of the dynamic rock-breaking process with a single PDC cutter was investigated by using ABAQUS software. The influence of impact parameters on the rock-breaking performance and cutting temperature was analyzed.
2. Rock Breaker Attachments. Rock breaker attachments are specialized tools that can be mounted on carrier machines, transforming them into powerful rock-breaking units. These attachments are designed for a wide range of tasks, from breaking large boulders to fine-tuning and secondary rock breaking.
Use the carbon dioxide filling system to inject high-pressure liquid carbon dioxide into the rock breaking steel pipe. Put the rock breaking steel pipe into the hole and place it at the bottom of the hole. Block the hole with soil or gravel. The tighter the blockage, the better the blasting effect. Connect the line and detonate.
You'll use the rock hammer connected to the air compressor to drill larger, deeper holes into the rock, and then you'll use bigger wedges and the jackhammer to bust up the rock. This step may require a professional. Dispose of the Rock. Now that you've broken up the rock, carefully place them into a wheelbarrow and take them away for ...

To improve the service life of the compound impact drilling tool, the 42CrMo steel is employed in the impact tool components. 42CrMo steel is one of the representative high strength steel ...
Abstract: As a new type of drilling method, with adding a certain proportion of steel particles into high-pressure pipe, high-velocity particle is formed to impact on rock surface to produce very large rock-breaking stress and achieve to drill rapidly. Therefore, based on cavity expansion theory, firstly, mathematical model of stress of particle impact rock was established, and the stress ...

In carbon dioxide gas blasting, liquid carbon dioxide is first filled into a specific rock-breaking steel pipe, and then the rock-breaking steel pipe is put into the bottom of the borehole. When detonating, the liquid carbon dioxide is rapidly vaporized to produce high-pressure gas. When the gas pressure reaches a certain level, it will ...
CO2 rock breaking system is a new type of equipment that can replace explosive blasting. No vibration, no government approval required, and reusable.
So the numerical modelling of rock damage and breaking by steel-particle water jet is an important supplement to experiments. The finite element method (FEM) coupled with smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) method is one of the most commonly used methods. The main advantage is that the SPH method is a meshless method, which can avoid problems ...
The CO2 rock-breaking system takes advantage of this feature, first putting the heating tube into the rock-breaking steel pipe, and filling the rock-breaking steel pipe with liquid carbon dioxide. Than insert the steel pipe into the hole. When the start button on the detonator is pressed, the temperature of the heating pipe will rise rapidly ...
In order to analyze the rock breaking effect of steel particles on rock, a computational model of rock breaking by round steel shot was established with dynamic transient non-linear finite element ...

CO2 rock blasting, also known as carbon dioxide rock breaking or gas expansion cracking, is a technique used for rock excavation and breaking in various applications, including mining, quarrying, and construction projects.
According to principle of particle jet impact drilling rock-breaking technology, the experimental device of particle jet impact rock breaking was developed. The rock-breaking experiments of particle jet-coupled impact were carried out in Engineering Center of Northeast Petroleum University [18, 27]. The effects of water-jet impact velocity ...

The process, mechanism, and characteristics of rock breaking are comprehensively analyzed from five aspects: peak force, breaking form, breaking efficiency, crack mode, and …
The experimental system of rock breaking by steel-particle water jet was used, which includes the high-pressure water pump, the particle injection system, the rock breaking system and the data acquisition system (see Fig. 2). The high-pressure pump could provide pressurized water as high as 50.0 MPa under the maximum flow rate of 50.0 L/min.
Therefore, laboratory test was carried out to study the effects of rock breaking depth on particle diameter, impact velocity and particle mixing ratio. Then, the semi-analytical model of rock-breaking depth under particle jet impact was established in stable damage condition, and the effect factors of rock-breaking depth were numerically analyzed.
The UPIRB produces extremely high impact stress and thus achieves rock breaking in several seconds under the UHF impact of steel particles induced by the applied ultrasonic …

rock breaking. The steel-particle water jet is a kind of high-pressure water jet with steel particles of a high speed of (25–500) m/s (Wang et al. 2017). Phenomenologically, the rock breaking process by steel-particle water jet is explained by a cyclic process of "damage-cumulative damage-failure" (Wang et al. 2017; Ren et al. 2020).
Fractum's breaking solutions are able to fragment hard material such as Bauxite, Granite, and Basalt rocks in a mere few strokes. The harder the rock, the easier it is for our breakers to do their job. This significantly improves productivity …
ROCK FORCE is a non-explosive demolition agent ROCK FORCE is a heavily swelling mortar for non-explosive concrete demolition and rock breaking. It expands soundlessly, tears apart structural elements and separates reinforcing steel from concrete. Demand for non-explosive and vibrationless demolition has experienced exponential growth in the past few years.
Step 2: Place Rock On a Hard Surface. If your rock is sitting on the dirt or yard, you're going to have a difficult time breaking it. That's because those types of surfaces are too giving. You'll need to set the rock on a harder surface …
